Sesshins with Ryushin Paul Haller Roshi

The Black Mountain Zen Centre has announced dates for two retreats (sesshin) with Paul Haller Roshi in May and August this year.

The Workshop will break for the regular sitting which will be take place between 3.30 and 4.30 as normal.
February 18th. Zen day and Posture Workshop with Michael Eido Luetchford of Dogen Sangha UK. This is a day of practice in which Michael will give guidance on how to sit. http://www.dogensangha.org.uk/ Details of the event are on the Ballymenazen Blogspot.
Sunday March 4 at 7.00 pm (provisional). Showing of Marc Rosenbusch's  Zen Noir  (http://www.zenmovie.com/index.html) followed by a discussion. It kicks off with a mysterious death in a zendo and has been described as a surrealist  Buddhist murder mystery. It is beautifully made, witty and carries a strong message. Zen Noir has won several awards, including Best Feature at the Moondance Film festival. It will provide an entertaining and challenging evening's viewing. Proceeds to Ballymena Zen Group's Development Fund.
